A Wonderful Experience Working with Laurie Buman

Our condominium association recently completed a $2.4 million renovation of our amenity spaces and wanted to showcase the work of local Chicago artists as the finishing touch. We were searching for five large statement pieces for our newly renovated club room.

After visiting several galleries, attending multiple art fairs, and spending time at the One of a Kind Show, we finally found exactly what we were looking for at the Bridgeport Arts Center. Looking back, I'm so glad we searched in person—fine art is simply difficult to appreciate fully online.

Laurie's mixed media art immediately stood out for its beauty, composition, and ability to complement our contemporary design. Each piece was professionally matted and framed in matching frames with museum-quality UV-protective glass, creating a cohesive and elegant installation.

Beyond her artistic talent, Laurie was wonderful to work with. She provided thoughtful guidance on matting and framing, personally delivered the artwork, and was responsive throughout the entire process. When three of the frames were damaged during shipping, she quickly helped coordinate replacements and made sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction.

The artwork has become a highlight of our renovation, and residents throughout our nearly 500-unit condominium community have commented on how beautiful the pieces are. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Laurie Buman to anyone looking for exceptional artwork for a home, business, or public space.
